Once upon a time I wrote my official curriculum vitae describing, quite briefly, what work I had done in my life. I produced 20 pages and I was not completely satyisfied. However most of the time I wore two hats: I was a techie guy or a leader of techie guys. So I decided to come up with two resumes, just to be focused.

A few musings from my old blog:

Since 1984 I have been teaching part-time. Mostly I was teaching the topics that I knew from my day-to-day experience. My teaching side naturally complements my other skill sets. There are 17 students who successfully wrote their Master's theses under my supervision. I am also a Member of the Advisory Board of the Royal Canadian Institute of Technology (RCIT).

The notion of architecture in the high-tech vibrant environment has been a matter of discussion and significant importance since 1990s. The industry produced so many titles and names that are unbelievably vague, that the discussions about what architecture is seem to be indefinite. Not willing to add more confusion to the topic, I want to mention that I like the Solutions Architecture term. In my opinion that is what many of us do in business, IT, or even :) construction. That's why in 2007 we established Architects Fellowship. Serving as a chairman of the Fellowship I truly believe that we'll become a worldwide society of all kinds of architects.
